Hondas advertising agency, RPA, looked towards EDG for creating an inspiring 50th Anniversary design that captures the true essence of Hondas historic technological advances in America ever since their inception in 1958. The agency creative team and their client also wanted our designers to create a compelling commemorative logo that would embody the innovative style and boldness of their founder Soichiro Honda. Working closing with RPA, EDG ultimately sought to create an identity that, while celebrating Honda’s proud legacy, also personifies the companys proud forward-thinking vision. With this stately mark, you’ll notice that the road culminates in the image of a distant star, a dream-like foreshadowing of the bold strides in leadership and innovation that this company will continue to implement over the next 50 years and beyond. In addition, an elegant graphic standards manual was created to serve for all creatives with specific guidelines on how this themed logo would integrate with all of Hondas advertising and marketing collateral effectively.

Sophistication meets soul in this ten-city traveling tour sponsored by Acura. The aim was to capture the spirit of the "Big Easy" since the tour culminated in New Orleans. EDG created graphics for the event identity and merchandise sold at the shows.

Honda Dreamlab
Sponsored by Honda, Dream Lab is a 10-week artist residency program that helps students develop and produce creative, original work in dance, music, drama, or the visual arts. In many cities where Pulse: A STOMP Odyssey is shown, Dream Lab artists will work with scores of students in fourth through eighth grade classes to develop creative pieces exploring the heritage of rhythm, improvisation, creativity and innovation. EDG designers created an exciting brand identity for this altruistic branch of Honda that conveys out of the box performances by many underprivileged childred.
2000 Little League World Series
Honda sponsored the 2000 Little League World Series and EDG designers hit it out of the park with this distinctive logo. This mark was used on everything from signage to seat cushions as well as many souvenirs of this historic event.
